Longest Day: Bringing the team home from Shok Valley

Master Sgt. Matthew Williams, a weapons sergeant with the 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne), heroically fought up a mountain through a barrage of enemy fire to help rescue his detachment members. He will receive the Medal of Honor at a White House ceremony, Oct. 30, 2019 followed by a "Hall of Heroes" induction ceremony at the Pentagon is slated for Oct. 31, 2019.
