Woman Knocks Down Officer With Her Car, Then Runs Him Over

Letting her leave would have been much less costly for the taxpayers. One thing that I find that a lot of police officers don't understand is that often the safest course of action is to let the suspect leave. Especially in situations like this one where the suspect is not suspected of a serious crime. Someone mentioned that the officer acted in the spur of the moment, but, then, so did this "suspect." Moreover, it is the type of moment that the police officer should have thought about ahead of time as part of his training on how not to play stupid games and win stupid prizes.

I am getting freaking tired of people attacking police...Throw her in jail for a few years and that ought to straighten her ass up!!!!

@Mrs10 - it looks like a restraint chair that they use in jail when a prisoner is out of control.

@Hi_estComnDenomn Her mental health is being questioned since she tried to kill an officer (as you said). Sane people usually don't try to run over others.

It would be great if I could speak the truth instead of sputtering nonsense all the time.

@Just-My-Thoughts unfortunately unless someone is under the age of 18, they are considered an adult. Which means if they don't want help they don't have to get it. Remember, it's not illegal to be crazy. There are thousands of dollar signs poured into mental health facilities for people who need the treatment.

They need to open mental hospitals again..........It would be cheaper than all the money paid out for injuries to officers and the lotto winnings by suspects and families.
