New Orleans, Louisiana - White supremacists with neo-confederate hate group League of the South stormed off from the Battle of New Orleans after Oathkeepers were mean to them.
League of the South founder, Michael Hill, has laid out the purpose of his group. “[T]he Southern League supports a return to a political and social system based on kith and kin rather than an impersonal state wedded to the idea of the universal rights of man. At its core is a European population.” Their members have openly called themselves white supremacists. Hill estimated 75 of their members are present at the "Battle of New Orleans."
League of the South blogger, Brad Griffin, posted video on his Periscope showing the aftermath of a confrontation between his group and Based Centurion on Sunday. Based Centurion reportedly told the hate group that he was half-Jewish and had a black son, and the group's southern nationalist flags were offensive. Based Centurion charged them then ran away, and Jeremy Walls then claims he injured his hand while attacking Based Centurion; they also whined about the arrest of their friend, Chris, who was arrested in the attack.
The group then continued yelling anti-Semitic racial slurs and, "The problem is the Jew." Griffin, however, said that it was self-defense and that Based Centurion "attacked" them.
Afterwards, Griffin posted another video of Walls bragging about the attack, saying that they didn't know Based Centurion was on the pro-monument side because all of the California patriots are "alt-lite," and they thought that he was a communist.
Griffin then whined about how the patriots were hostile to them. "I'm so f-ing mad," he said. "These people from California, they're attacking us."
"They literally said, 'Let them get attacked, and we'll just stand here, and if they come after us then we'll do what we always do.'" Griffin continued.
Jeremy Walls added, "We should have just attacked [the patriots] immediately is what we should have done, we should have let them all go home in stitches."
"Show them you knuckle," Griffin said as the camera shows Walls's injured knuckle, "That's from fighting the alt-lite."
"We should..." Griffin started.
"Burn their cars?" Walls added. "Oh, wait a minute, that's not a thing we should do."
"I have tried all I can to get our people to just walk out..." Griffin whined, "This patriot whatever f- Oathcucks or whatever. The Oathcucks, they're here to attack us in the back... F-ing Oathcucks."
Jeremy Wells then bragged about stealing someone's hat as he showed it off on camera. You can see the 10 minute video HERE.
The "Battle of New Orleans" has died down for the moment ad the crowds have largely cleared out after New Orleans Police Department enforced a no-mask no-weapons rule, but more tension is expected later at night.
A bucket truck was recently seen in the area of the Robert E. Lee monument, which people are speculated was meant to be used to take down the monument.
I'll be covering the Battle of New Orleans all day.
