North Minneapolis, MN - At a peace conference that was held last weekend, legendary musician Stevie Wonder told the crowd that it is a contradiction for the 'African-American community' to say that Black Lives Matter when in reality black-on-black crime claims so many lives, according to Fox News (video below.)

The peace summit was held over the weekend of June 16-17 and focused on the ongoing issue of youth gun violence. It suggested offering young people alternatives to 'street warfare,' according to the StarTribune.

Wonder said, “You cannot say ‘black lives matter,’ and then kill yourselves."

"Because you know we’ve mattered long before it was said, but the way we show that we matter, the way that we show all the various people of color matter, is by loving each other and doing something about it. Not just talking about it, not just waiting to see the media and press come when there’s a horrible thing."

He also told the crowd, "The first thing you must do is stop believing the fallacy of you not being important. Because it is completely unacceptable for one to hate themselves so much that anyone that looks like you, you want to kill.”

Black Lives Matter is made up of political organizations with political goals that most people would disagree with, including disrupting the “nuclear family” structure (see Black Villages), taxpayer-funded reparations for black people (see Reparations), and the elimination of charter schools (see Invest-Divest.) If you are unfamiliar with the Movement 4 Black Lives website we linked to, that’s the coalition of over 50 Black Lives Matter organizations which is receiving $100 million in donations to push their political goals.

The Black Lives Matter organizations make use of false civil-rights activism in order to push their political agendas which have little to do with violence against black males. In fact, black males are almost completely ignored in the groups' focus on feminism, communism, and black nationalism.
