Albuquerque, NM - Bodycam footage shows a 17-year-old burglar crying and begging for his mommy after he's caught for burglarizing several businesses (video below.)

At around 3:30 Am on Wednesday detectives were patrolling an area where a string of commercial burglaries had recently taken place. The detectives saw a teen, who ran from the officers when they tried to contact him.

The teen briefly got away from the officers before he was cornered. He started sobbing and begging for his mommy as officers gave him orders and took him into custody. The cops weren't even being scary mean, they just calmly gave him orders and were very nice to him.

"We're not going to hurt you man. Just fall to your knees and stay there."

"Please call my mom," the burglar said while dropping to the ground. "Let me call my mom."

The officers tried to calm him down but he kept begging to call his mommy.

The officers seemed to question whether they had actually caught the burglar, or just a kid who ran from them. Then officers pulled knives off of the teen, which were knives stolen during the burglaries. He was also found to be in possession of burglary tools.

Overall, he was in possession of six stolen knives, gloves, a flashlight, a screwdriver set, and $213. When questioned, he admitted to burglarizing the businesses.

The police officers even called his mommy for him.

The teen cried in court and even admitted to using methamphetamine and spice. His face-tears didn't move the judge, who ordered him to be held in custody.

You can see the video below. There might be something wrong with me, because I think this is one of the funniest videos this year. Do you think it's mean to laugh at a 17-year-old burglar, or does this punk deserve to be made famous? We'd like to hear from you. Please let us know in the comments.
