Waffle House Responds After Employee Refused Service To 4 Uniformed Officers

Waffle House corporate headquarters has responded after an employee refused to serve four police officers.

Jennings, LA – Waffle House’s corporate headquarters has issued an apology after four Jennings police officers were denied service at one of their restaurants on Saturday morning.

“It’s sad when 4 police officers are refused service at Waffle House in Jennings…for the simple fact we are police officers,” Jennings Police Officer Ryan Courville said in a Facebook post. “Corporate was called. Just thought I’d share.”

Jennings Police Chief Danny Semmes said he received a call from the Waffle House regional manager shortly after the incident occurred, and that he was “assured the situation would be handled appropriately,” according to his Facebook post.

Chief Semmes added that the regional manager told him that officers “are always welcome at Waffle House.”

Officer Courville agreed that the management team was “extremely helpful and apologetic” in the wake of the incident, according to a later Facebook post.

“Just wanted to clear up that it is not Waffle House or a management problem, but in fact an issue with one employee,” Officer Courville added. “I am by no means bad mouthing the entirety of the business.”

Waffle House’s corporate headquarters also released a statement regarding the refusal of service.

“Our management team has reached out to Chief Semmes and apologized for the incident,” the company said in a statement to KPLC. “We are conducting a full review, and once we get all the facts we will take appropriate action quickly.”

“Our goal is for every customer to have an enjoyable experience,” the corporate office continued. “If we do not deliver on that promise, we work hard to rebuild the customer’s trust.”

Chief Semmes said that the situation was regrettable, but that he hoped everyone could “move forward together.”

@LEO0301 PAUSE. You talked tough first. I guess you thought being a cop meant you had the same kind of authority on the internet?

And as I've said the whole time you've been on this website, you're absolutely the same as every white nationalist loudmouth bitch I've ever met. Tough in numbers, soft as tissue paper by yourself.

You're also afraid to go outside based on what the media feeds you, despite what statistics say. You're not a threat to anyone, and you really should stop talking like you are.

Oh, and you don't live 7 hours from Jacksonville.

@TarnishedCopper: maybe the family can eat at the restaurant and then get the policepeople in the family some to go to eat at home when the non-police family members get back. That way the family gets to go to the restaurant, but there is no risk of contamination from cooks and preparers that the police officer(s) in the family have arrested in the past. Saliva / booger contamination is gross, but usually not deadly, so I think police officers take that in stride. However, other types of contaminants are more likely to be a real threat to health and not just a gross experience.

What are you, a 10 year old child? Do you really believe I would drive 7 hours to meet you in some school yard to fight you? Seriously, grow the F up. Honestly, you're no different than the thugs in Chicago that kill each other over a wrong look. Besides, I have no doubt you would sucker punch me if given a chance. I mean, isn't that your MO?

@Righton17 😂 don't lecture anyone else about talking tough on the internet. Check the thread, you started it.

it never ceases to amaze me how old guys think they can roll with guys much younger than them. You cant, and its sad that you think you can. I actively spar with guys younger and older than me. I'm 34 and i have to use much more effort on someone 10 years younger than me vice 10 years older than me.

I'd guess you're at least 30 years older than me. Even if you knew how to fight, folding you wouldn't be an issue. Now let's not kid ourselves, we will never meet. But if we did, you would be too afraid to do anything. I mean, the media already scares the shit out of you. You're already shook before you leave your house.

Have you had a chance to check the stats that show you're safer than ever yet? Or are you receiving your daily dose of fear from your favorite news network right now?
