Columbus, Ohio - Dash camera video shows a handcuffed topless woman get into a pepper spray fight with officers while she was in the back of a patrol car (video below.)
The incident happened on Wednesday morning in front of the police substation on East Main St, according to NBC4i.
Quivonna Bonner had been arrested for disorderly conduct and drug possession and was handcuffed in the back of the patrol car. While she was in the patrol car, Bonner, who was topless, continued her disorderly conduct, screaming and cursing at officers.
Bonner then repeatedly told the officers that she was going to mace them when they opened the door. Inexplicably, she was able to move her handcuffs to the front of her body and she had a can of pepper spray on her hands.
Keep in mind that Quivonna Bonner would have been searched at the time of arrest, and she wasn't wearing a bra to hide a can of pepper spray. This begs the question: Where was she hiding the can of pepper spray? You don't wanna know.
The officer then tried to pepper spray Bonner in order to get her to drop her own spray, and she responded by she attempting to spray the officer.
“Officer Tackett had the rear window cracked and as he got close to try and mace Ms. Bonner, Ms. Bonner reached up and sprayed her mace through the opening of the window at Officer Tackett,” said court documents.
Bonner was hit by a direct shot of pepper spray, which allowed the officers to disarm her.
The officers described her behavior as so belligerent that she was unable to be interviewed, and was taken directly to the Franklin County Jail for booking.
Quivonna Bonner was charged with assaulting a police officer.
