VIDEO: Student Says 'Too Many White People' Are Using UVA's Multicultural Center

"Frankly, there's just too many white people in here," the University of Virginia student announced.

Charlottesville, VA – A University of Virginia (UVA) student delivered a now-viral, self-proclaimed “public service announcement” declaring that there were “too many white people” using the UVA’s new Multicultural Student Center (video below).

The original version of the video has been deleted, but not before it was reposted by the Young America’s Foundation (YAF), WCAV reported.

The UAF noted that “leftists” at the university were “dictating who is and who isn’t allowed in the new Multicultural Student Center.”

“This kind of racist intolerance is NOT multicultural,” the YAF said in the video caption.

The video showed the student as she paced around the room, calling for everyone’s attention.

“Excuse me! Public service announcement! Excuse me!” the woman said. “If y’all didn’t know, this is the MSC, and frankly, there’s just too many white people in here and this is a space for people of color, so just be really cognizant of the space that you’re taking up, because it does make some of us POCs uncomfortable when you see too many white people in here.”

“It’s only been open for four days, and frankly, there’s the whole university for a lot of y’all to be at, and there’s very few spaces for us, so keep that in mind,” she declared. “Thank you.”

The beaming student plopped herself down into a nearby chair as others in the room applauded and cheered, the video showed.

The footage has been viewed nearly four million times so far.

On Wednesday, UVA released a statement on Twitter welcoming all members of the community to the new Multicultural Student Center, which also includes an expanded LGBTQ Center and Latinx-focused and Interfaith centers.

“Since the opening, some questions have been raised regarding the scope or inclusivity of these centers and their missions,” the university said. “In order to foster the diversity of experience and ideas that make UVA a great and good place to study and work, these centers are open to all members of the University community.”

UVA President Jim Ryan also noted that he deeply believes “that we need to build a community that is not just diverse, but also inclusive.”

The student seen in the video did not respond to requests for comment, WCAV reported.

The Black Student Alliance told the news outlet that they are mostly concerned about the student’s welfare, because “the comments have gotten really nasty.”

You can watch the student’s proclamation in the video below:

“Frankly there is just too many white people in here, and this is a space for people of color.”

Isn't white a color? If anything, too much of the peoples tax dollars going for support of this kind of crap. Why doesn't she start pumping out kids and collecting her monthly government checks? That would sure beat a fast food gig.

There is no hope for this woman, as her racism and inability to see past skin color goes deep to her core.

If a Caucasian said this same thing, they would likely face discipline.

Democrats and progressives want to take us back 80 years, dividing us all, in a misguided attempt to try to right some wrongs that were done long ago, by doing exactly the same thing.

"80 years"? Why do you people try so hard to perpetuate this LIE of racism being something that disappeared "a century ago"? Children were still being bussed to school under federal agent escorts only 40 years ago. The civil rights movement ended only 55 years ago. How logical is it for someone to believe that the last 55 years somehow erased 190 years (more if we count the time before the nation was officially established) of anti-black bias being ingrained into the culture of the nation? You people are weird as shit.

I said they want to take us back 80 years. Pay attention.

But feel free to tell us how you were personally "marginalized." Did a cop pull you and your girlfriend over one day long ago? Awww.

No... You are the one not “paying attention”. We don’t have to go “80 years back” to see segregation you idiot. It wasn’t that long ago, you’re saying “80 years” to make it seem as if the nation is long past this stage.

Segregation makes lots of whites more animalistic than they already are.

After the Civil War, there were more than 200 independent black-run townships, and most of them were ransacked and burned to the ground by angry whites. Black Wall Street in Oklahoma being the most well-known one.

Whites told blacks they won't do business with them, so blacks did business with themselves. The area was doing really well, while the surrounding white towns were suffering and starving, so a government-led massacre took place out of envy.

Whites like you don't want segregation because it will upset you when black areas do better than your own.

No, I chose the 1940s. I could have chosen the 1950s or early 60s before the Civil Rights Amendment of 1964 made it illegal to discriminate based upon skin color, but I chose 1940s, because the Dems want to take us back to when it was legal and also widely accepted to discriminate against groups of citizens based upon skin color.

I never said anything about discrimination ending 80 years ago. It obviously still exists today. Personally, I can't say that I've ever first-hand witnessed discrimination against POC in my lifetime. You act like you have personally experienced some, but all I've ever heard is that you were offended from being pulled over with a White girl.

Funny you ask that question Jim. What do you call it when a cop pulls a motorist over and informs him that he’s pulling him over because the driver “changed lanes abruptly”, even though the driver clearly used his turn signal appropriately.

Then after informing the motorist of the “reason” for the stop asks the motorist to step out of the car. The motorist complies, the cop then goes on to inform the motorist that he’s gonna just write him a warning but he just want to search his vehicle before writing up the warning (as if he’s doing the motorist a favor by just giving him a warning for “changing lanes abruptly while using a turn signal” smfh).

The motorist declines to give the cop permission to search his vehicle so the officer radioes in for the K-9 unit to come to the scene of the stop. Upon the arrival of the K-9 unit the officer informs the motorist of the process the K9 will go through. Unbeknownst to the officer, the motorist has a very close friend that happens to be a K9 handler for the Georgia state patrol, and the handler informed the motorist of the reactions K9 usually give when they detect drugs.

The motorist says to the officer “Yea yea yea.... The dog is gonna run around the car, you’re gonna come back and tell me he reacted, knowing he didn’t and then you’re gonna search my vehicle. I’m just making it known that you do not have my permission to do so”. The officer scoffs, but most certainly comes back to the driver and tells him the dog reacted although the driver KNOWS the dog did not react.

Needless to say the officerS search the car, then search it again.... Then again. They find nothing, so they decide to call in their lieutenant of the narcotics unit and have him search the vehicle. Of course he finds nothing because there is nothing to find, so 2 hours later the officer that initiated the stop finally writes this warning and Tells the motorist he’s free to go.

Why did this officer lie about the dog reacting Jim? Why was he so determined to find drugs in the vehicle of a man that had none? Why was it so difficult to believe that this specific motorist wasn’t just simply traveling from Virginia back to GA?

Um, some of us Whites don't want segregation for other reasons; you know, reasons like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr espoused. But come on... Chicago, Baltimore, Atlanta, Detroit...
