San Bernadino County, CA - A motorist took cell phone footage of a semi-truck dragging a passenger car down the highway with the driver stuck inside.
Brian Steimke posted the video to Facebook on April 19th, saying, "Going home coming up the freeway on the 15 and this is what I saw wow intense the poor guy got drug at least 4 miles."
"You're dragging the car," says Brian Steimke in the video. "They don't know what's going on here. Look at that. That's on the freeway going up to Cajon Pass."
The truck driver was flagged down by multiple people who finally got him to stop. When he stopped, Steimke confronted the driver, "Why were you driving so far," Steimke asks. "The guy is underneath your car."
The truck driver said that he didn't notice. The driver who was trapped in the car then told Steimke to stop recording, although the reason why wasn't clear.
Social media detectives hunted down people who claimed that the passenger car was driving recklessly prior to slamming into the back of the semi, where it got stuck, although that information cannot be confirmed.
The California Highway Patrol said that this is not being investigated as a criminal incident.
