Columbia, SC - Saturday night's episode of Live PD showed a pursuit which started off intense, and got more insane as the incident went on (video below.)

Live PD is a real-life police show on A&E which follows officers on calls, much like the popular show COPS, except the footage is live.

On the Saturday night episode, suspect Bryan Martin fled from Richland County deputies in his vehicle with his baby daughter in the car.

The pursuit reached speeds of 95 MPH before the car flipped. As the police ran up on the car, Martin got out while holding his baby girl in his arms. Bryan Martin then started to fight the police while he was still holding his daughter.

Finally the girl got out of his arms, and a deputy fought with Martin on the ground. A prolonged ground fight went on until the deputy just held on for life, waiting for his backup to arrive to help.

Then Martin reached in his pockets, apparently ready to pull out a weapon. Luckily, it wasn't a weapon he had. Martin pulled out an unidentified object and placed it in his mouth.

Other deputies arrived and Bryan Martin was placed into custody. It ended with him crying face-tears in the middle of the street.

Thankfully, Martin wasn't pulling a gun, but this episode really highlights just how quickly the fight could have turned deadly.

The baby girl was taken to the hospital to be evaluated and then turned over to family members.

Martin is facing charges of child endangerment, reckless driving, and simple possession of marijuana.
