VIDEO: Protesters Occupy In-N-Out Burger So Employee Takes Care Of Business

One Long Beach In-N-Out Burger employee had not tolerance for the Extinction Rebellion's antics.

Long Beach, CA – A bullhorn-carrying climate change protester was physically carried out of a Long Beach In-N-Out Burger by an employee after the activists attempted to harass customers and workers inside the restaurant (video below).

The incident occurred at the In-N-Out Burger on East Pacific Coast Highway just before 5 p.m. on Sept. 8, The Blaze reported.

Cell phone footage showed one employee as he scooped up a gray-haired protester from behind and marched him right out the front door.

Once they were outside, the employee released his hold on the protester and told him to leave.

“Keep your hands off of me!” the belligerent activist ordered, his bullhorn just inches away from the employee’s face. “Do you feel bad, man? Do you feel big and bad?”

“I did nothing wrong!” the protester yelled. “This is America! We can use our voice!”

A moment later, the video showed a female protester as she was being escorted out of the fast-food joint by another group of workers.

“My property is in here!” she wailed, as she hauled a large trash can out the door with her.

The protesters proceeded to dig through the bin until they located the woman’s bullhorn.

At some point during the chaos, Long Beach police were called to the scene for a report of a “group disturbance at a business,” The Blaze reported.

A male at the restaurant told police that a woman in the group had grabbed him and injured his upper torso.

The video showed the officers as they placed a female protester in handcuffs.

“What are you doing?” someone off-camera yelled at them. “She was the one who was assaulted!”

The woman screamed and wailed as her fellow protesters continued to proclaim that she was the one who was victimized, the video showed.

The female protester was later identified as 26-year-old Sarah Gomez, The Blaze reported.

Gomez was booked on an outstanding warrant and a new charge of battery on a person before she was released from custody with a notice to appear in court.

An additional charge of trespassing was later filed with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, according to The Blaze.

These protests on private property need to be nipped in the bud.

Due to the influence of social media, there are countless people now-a-days who consider it a full-time "job" to disrupt other people's lives and a businesses. Thankfully, it is a crime, but it's simply a misdemeanor.

It should be a felony to deliberately organize and prevent others from exercising their own free will. For example...

  • You block a road or highway, you are infringing upon the rights of others to travel freely. Off to jail you go with felony charges.

  • You plan in advance to "shut down" any lawful business or assembly with disorderly conduct and inconvenience multiple people, felony for you.

The world is getting ridiculous. So many people think their cause is so just, that they have the right to harm others. That's not how it works. Use legal means to get the laws changed when you see things that you think are unjust.

In this case, we've got climate activists. Basically every one of them is a hypocrite anyway, but boy are they going to regret it if they ever get their way.

I don't need to be preached to about Climate Science by someone who got C's in Art History and has $200,000 in student loans because they mad major failed decisions in life and now can't find a job and expect me to pay for their mistakes.

It is great to see the employees of a business standing up for the interests of the business and its customers, including the use of force to remove interference to the ongoing normal business operation.

When I was growing up I was taught that my rights ended just before my fist touched the nose of another. This a perfect example of the need to responsibly act. congrats to the In-N-Out workers for their response to this unlawful intrusion.

Maybe Gomer shouldn’t have been protesting when you have an outstanding warrant! Haha. Im not sure I’d have restraint when dealing with these idiots. On a side note, In-and-Out is actually helping climate change by reducing the amount of beef!

Large fines (1500$+) along with community service (picking up garbage on highways and tent cities) should help cut down on these idiots. These fines should also be divided up between the establishment employees or owners who tackle these nut cases and the officers who answer the call, above their pay.

These idiots like to use the freedom of speech argument for their immature protests but they always forget the part about them having to do it peacefully...Good for the employees and police!
