VIDEO: Oklahoma City Police Take Out Murder Suspect On Live TV

Oklahoma City police fatally shot a murder suspect Monday afternoon.

Oklahoma City, OK - Oklahoma City police officers shot a murder suspect as news cameras broadcast the incident on live TV (video below).

The incident happened after a domestic violence shooting earlier in the day.

The suspect fatally shot a female victim in the 12900 block of Stonecrest Lane at around 3 p.m., according to NEWS9.

Officers located a vehicle matching the description of the suspect's vehicle. When they attempted to stop it, the suspect drove off, leading officers in a pursuit.

The vehicle drove into a business park in the area of NW 122nd Street and MacArthur Boulevard, where officers blocked the vehicle's path and laid down spike strips.

The vehicle went over a curb and the driver jumped out of the car, raising what appeared to be a gun in his right hand.

The unoccupied vehicle continued forward, and the open door struck a lightpole, causing the door to slam into the suspect just as officers opened fire, the video showed.

The condition of the suspect has not been released.

Nobody important was wounded in the gunfight.
