VIDEO: No Charges After High School Students Beat Vice Principal

A high school vice principal who tried to break up a fight between students became the target of the attack.

St. Louis County, MO – Terrifying video was posted to social media of a school administrator being attacked on Monday after he tried to break up a fight in a St. Louis County school (video below).

St. Louis County police said a fight broke out in the Oakville High School cafeteria at about 7:10 a.m. on Oct. 29, according to KTVI.

An administrator tried to intervene and was taken to the ground and attacked by students, KMOV reported.

The Mehlville School District said the administrator was the high school’s vice principal, according to KMOV.

“Mr.brenden got his a-- whooped,” the student who posted one of the now-viral videos wrote as the caption.

Oakville High School Principal Jan Kellerman told KMOV the brawl began when the staff member tried to break up an altercation between three students.

KMOV reported that the school resource officer arrived on the scene shortly after the vice principal was attacked and was able to break up the fight.

In the video, students pulled and shoved the administrator to the ground and began kicking him.

Cheering and laughing can be heard in the background as the vice principal gets beaten.

Another staff member tried to intervene, the video showed. But he was also quickly overpowered and attacked.

When it was all over, the St. Louis County police took a 15-year-old student and two 16-year-old students into custody. But first they were all taken to the school nurse and checked for injuries.

Police said they would appear in St. Louis County Family Court, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.

The staff member was transported to urgent care where he was treated and released, KMOV reported.

The principal sent out a letter to parents that explained what had happened after the videos of the fight went viral on social media.

“This morning before school started, there was a fight in the school cafeteria involving three students. Several administrators intervened and broke up the fight,” Kellerman wrote.

“We understand that video of the fight has been shared on social media, and we've received several calls checking on the welfare of our staff and students. All of our staff and students are OK,” the principal continued.

“We are investigating the matter, and discipline will be rendered as detailed in our district disciplinary policy,” she wrote.

St. Louis County police told KTVI that no charges were being filed because all three students were juveniles.

However, the students will likely be expelled from school, according to KTVI.

"I can tell you we take all incidents like this very seriously," the school district’s director of communications Jessica Pupillo said. "Student safety is our most important job."

Collapse of the police and judicial system. We all know why no charges will be brought.

@usac95 Lazy Police? The article clearly states three juveniles were taken into custody. That was Police doing their jobs. It is the justice system that files charges (or not). Police are the most visible part of the justice system and take the blame for all of it whether they are responsible or not. How frustrating!

Great job you parents of these thugs/thugetts. You raised them to be this way by not demanding they respect you and others in authority. These kids need to be expelled, period. You don't attack a teacher, police, parents, etc. There are consequences to the actions you take and what you do. Again, thanks parents, you did a horrible job raising them
