VIDEO Mayor's Son Calls Cop 'F-ing B-ch' 'Mother F-er,' Now Cops Face Discipline

Denver Mayor Michael Hancock said he has "addressed" the incident with his 22-year-old son.

Aurora, CO – The son of Denver Mayor Michael Hancock unleashed a tirade of vulgar language and entitled behavior during a traffic stop in March, recently leaked bodycam footage showed (video below).

“My dad’s the mayor, you f*****g f****t! Ha ha...You can fetch that,” Jordan Hancock spouted during the brief video. “Guess what? I’m about to get you fired, you f*****g b***h!”

The incident occurred just before 8 a.m. on March 23, when an unnamed Aurora Police Department officer pulled Hancock over for traveling 65 miles per hour in a 40 mile per hour zone, KMGH reported.

The 20-second bodycam video – which was not authorized to be released – captured Hancock’s arrogant demeanor during his exchange with the officer.

“Mayor of what? Of Denver?” the officer asked Hancock, 22, after he declared who his father was.

“Yeah. Exactly m****r f****r,” Hancock retorted. “Don’t worry about it.”

“Well, you’re in Aurora,” the officer told him.

Hancock went on to tell the officer that he was going to get him fired.

“Oh yeah? For what?” the officer asked him.

“Yeah. Exactly – don’t worry about it,” Hancock said. “Hatin’ in blue.”

“I see your dad’s going to be proud,” the officer commented.

“Exactly. And I got my own, you f*****g f****t,” Hancock replied, just before the clip ended.

On the citation, the officer wrote, “Attitude very poor – see video,” according to KMGH.

Hancock appeared in court on Monday morning, and told the judge he had been speeding because he was running late.

He was fined $250.

Following his son’s court hearing, Mayor Hancock issued a statement, and said he had “addressed” his 22-year-old son’s behavior.

“He's apologized to the officer,” the Mayor explained. “While we don't support nor condone his inexcusable actions & words, we love our son dearly & will work w/him to turn a personal mistake into a valuable lesson for himself & the community.”

The Aurora Police Department said that the officer involved “was in compliance with department policies throughout the encounter,” but noted that an internal investigation was underway to determine how the footage was leaked to KMGH.

“It is of great concern to the Aurora Police Department that the video was released without departmental authorization, especially while the matter is pending prosecution,” the department said in a statement, according to the news outlet. “Any member who is found to have violated departmental policies and procedures will be held accountable.”

Hancock refused to speak to reporters following his court hearing, KMGH reported.

Hancock was also uncooperative with officers on Sep. 28, 2014, when investigators questioned him about the shooting of 19-year-old Jalen Robinson, The Denver Post reported.

Robinson, who was traveling in an SUV with Hancock and other friends, was shot in the back of the head by front seat passenger Eddie Johnson.

Hancock claimed that the round was fired by someone outside of the vehicle, although Johnson later pleaded guilty to multiple charges related to the incident.

Robinson survived his injury.

This headline is misleading. The investigation has absolutely nothing to do with the officer's actions during the stop. It has everything to do with someone violating division policy regarding the unauthorized release of an evidentiary video. Blue Lives Matter, PLEASE do not fall into line with other media outlets' misleads please!

Title of story is very misleading. There was not one word in this story that indicated this specific officer faces discipline, nor any other officer at this point. An internal investigation is ongoing. End of story.

Sounds like daddy has made a habit in the past of using his position to smooth over things for his son and created a monster in the process. His sense of entitlement to special treatment because of his relationship to the mayor is appalling. Wonder how this would have gone without the video of the encounter being "leaked"?

Your son is a FUCKING IDIOT. Thinks he can use your position as his own. Work with what, a 22 year old spoiled hood rat. What's the boy going to do when you leave office, plunder, burn and riot?

"...personal mistake...?" Um, hey dad, that was no mistake. It was deliberate. No wonder your kid's a jerk. You've probably been excusing all his bad behavior as a mistake all his life.
