VIDEO: Masked Antifa Berate Elderly Woman Trying To Cross Road
Hamilton ON, CAN – Antifa screamed at an elderly woman and blocked her entrance to a conservative political rally during a protest on Sunday (video below).
The appalling altercation took place outside Mohawk College, as the white-haired senior citizen tried to make her way across a crosswalk with her walker, the New York Post reported.
A group of masked protesters stood just inches away from the woman and her bearded male companion, then began yelling at them, video footage showed.
“Nazi scum! Off our streets!” the so-called activists hollered. “Don’t f--king touch me!”
Hamilton police ultimately intervened and escorted the woman and her companion past the protesters, the New York Post reported.
The couple has not filed a complaint, but police are aware of the incident and may opt to file charges once their investigation is complete, department spokesperson David Hennick said.
The event was being held in support of People’s Party of Canada (PPC) leader Maxime Bernier, who was delivering a presentation inside the venue along with political commentator Dave Rubin and two PPC candidates, CBC reported.
Approximately 100 people gathered outside the building to either protest or support the fundraising event.
Hamilton police arrested four men – two from each side of the protests – for “breach of the peace,” CBC reported.
They were all later released from custody without conditions.
Bernier later posted video footage of the altercation between the antifa and the elderly couple on social media, the New York Post reported.
“These Antifa protesters are a small minority of violent thugs,” he noted in the post.
