VIDEO: Journalist Files Police Report Accusing Maxine Waters Of Assault

Laura Loomer said she went directly to the Capitol police to file a report and show them the video of the assault.

Washington, DC – A conservative journalist said she was assaulted by U.S. Representative Maxine Waters (D – California) three times in the Rayburn House Office Building on Tuesday, and she wants to press charges.

Reporter Laura Loomer said she was trying to ask Waters about her controversial call for Democrats to harass Trump administration officials and other political opponents when the congresswoman swatted the cell phone she held in her hand to film the interaction.

Loomer continued to film the entire exchange with the Democratic congresswoman, and posted it on Big League Politics.

“Who are you darling?” Waters asked Loomer, in a condescending tone.

Loomer told the congresswoman that she was an investigative journalist and a Trump supporter, which quickly put an end to the prospective interview, the video showed.

“Come to my office and I’ll be happy to sit down with you. We can’t talk on the run,” Waters responded, as the video showed she gave a shove to the cell phone that was filming her.

At that point, she picked up her pace and walked away, giving Loomer “the hand” in a dismissive gesture, the video showed.

The video showed that Loomer stayed on Waters’ heels as she walked from her office to the elevator, and asked questions about the meaning behind her controversial suggestions.

“You just encouraged your supporters to harass Trump supporters and officials, I just wanted to ask you – where are Trump supporters allowed to go?” Loomer asked.

Waters refused to even listen to the questions, and talked over the reporter, repeating “please come to my office” over and over again as she sped toward the elevator designated for Members of Congress.

As they approached the elevators, Waters appeared to use the papers in her hand to block the camera, the video showed. Then she swatted the reporter with the papers.

“Where can a conservative eat at a restaurant in DC?” Loomer asked, undaunted.

At that point, Waters turned and advanced on the reporter.

“Please come to my office and talk and be civil. Please come to my office and talk with me,” Waters said, her voice rising in frustration.

“You’re talking about civility. Do you think it’s civil to call for the harassment of Trump officials?” Loomer asked.

The elevators doors opened, and as Waters stepped through the doorway, the video showed she turned and firmly swatted the reporter again with the papers in her hand, before her staff members closed ranks around her and informed the reporter it was a “Members’ Only” elevator, over and over again.

Loomer said she went down to the Capitol Police Department right away and filed a police report against Waters for assault.

In a second video she filmed on the front steps of the Capitol police, published by Big League Politics, Loomer described what she told police the congresswoman had done to her.

“When I was confronting the congresswoman, she assaulted me three times,” she said in the video. “The first time she swatted my hand with her hand to attempt to knock my phone out of my hand when I was recording her. And I said please do not hit my hand.”

“Then when I was confronting her and I kept on questioning her, the congresswoman then hit me in the face with her papers two separate times,” Loomer continued.

“And it was all caught on camera! And I came down here to the Capitol police station, I showed the officers and I filed a report,” she explained in the video.

Blue Lives Matter contacted the Capitol police to find out the status of the charges against Waters, but had received no response at publication time.

5 JBo JBo 3 days I think by the statement, "question and recorded from a less invasive distance", he meant the next block or from another building.

4 Hi_estComnDenomn Hi_estComnDenomn 3 days @JBo I'm not sure how you thought that when i specifically said "like the other woman with a camera." she's a few feet away and can record, listen, and ask questions without invading personal space.

Do y'all add words to statements to rile yourselves up? I don't understand.

Heezels Heezels 3 days “She could have asked her question and recorded from a less invasive distance, like the other woman with a camera did.”

Hmm, well I agree. Hopefully people are willing to establish this general with any person. Including with our wonderful police officers who are too often harassed by people and their video cameras.

3 BlueMooseCode4 BlueMooseCode4 3 days I really didn't see any kind of assault of any consequence and Mad Max didn't loose her cool. However, was she not just asking for Trump supporters to be pushed out by libtards and told they are not welcome? Seems she got some of her own double standard and didn't like it. That smug smile on her face when she was in the back of the elevator said it all. Screw her.

6 Ethananddrewsnana Ethananddrewsnana 3 days Maxine Waters is nothing but a racist ghetto Pig. She's trying to get all the votes for next election. They need to fire her and press charges for telling people to threaten and hurt our president. What trash

7 RunCop RunCop 3 days Lowest common denominator’s raggedy -assed mama!

4 Hi_estComnDenomn Hi_estComnDenomn 3 days @Ethananddrewsnana Could you please post where Waters has ever said to hurt Trump? You can't just say something like that with no proof.

LEO0301 LEO0301 3 days The battery statutes are perfectly clear. You are not allowed to touch someone without their permission. "Any actual and intentional touching or striking of another person against that person’s will (non-consensual)" constitutes a battery. Sorry HCD but there is no provision about getting into someone's personal space. It's about time that this James Brown look-a-like gets a taste of her own medicine. NO JUSTICE, NO PEACE!

2 @Hi_estComnDenomn - of course you would support James Br...I mean Mad Max Waters for a couple of obvious reasons. One, and the most important one to you, is her skin color, and two, you hate the best president this country has ever had, Donald Trump. MAGA!

3 Cstuartsr Cstuartsr 3 days Maxine Waters needs to be impeached from Congress. I personally think she has mental problems. I just can’t understand how a grown congresswoman can act like a spoiled brat that does not have any sense.

1 LEO0301 LEO0301 3 days If, and that's a big if considering she is a black female politician, she gets arrested, it will be the happiest day of my life.

1 @Hi_estComnDenomn - Along with all the crazy stuff this woman (I think she is, although there is a striking resemblance to James Brown) has said recently, she also made this statement not too long ago - "Then, later in the day, as SHTFplan.com's Alex Thomas reports, during an appearance at the Ali Forney Center gal in New York City, Congresswoman and “impeachment minstrel” Maxine Waters promised a roaring crowd that she would “take out” the president that very night – a statement that has left many wondering if this was a direct threat on President Trump’s life or whether it was some sort of sick joke. (especially in the wake of Rep. Steve Scalise being shot by a liberal)."

There is little doubt this woman (?) is unhinged and should be committed.

1 Hi_estComnDenomn Hi_estComnDenomn 3 days @LEO0301 You shouldn't need a law to enforce something you should have learned in pre-school to be a regular functioning member of society. Plus it's obvious she was inciting for the camera.

Also, i didn't need race or politics to make my argument like you just did. I'll repeat; personal space is personal space, no matter who you are.

@LEO0301 I'm having trouble finding that quote anywhere else. Please provide a link.

1 magnumforc magnumforc 3 days MaxiPad Waters at it again. As if she is not demeaning enough just being her...

2 LEO0301 LEO0301 2 days @Hi_estComnDenomn - Hahahahaha, Waters calls for liberals to harass Trump supporters, which seems to be okay with you, but when she (?) gets a taste of her own medicine, you claim the reporter was "inciting for the camera"... PRICELESS!

Waters is a politician so she is used to being followed and asked questions by reporters. She didn't like the questions asked so she left in a hurry to avoid having to answer those questions. As a politician, elected by the people of this country, she needs to respond to the dangerous rhetoric she spewed about harassing Trump supporters. I watched the video and Waters "personal space" wasn't violated. The other reporters were just as close. Based on what I saw, Waters committed a battery and should be arrested. I doubt it will happen, because like I said before, she is black, a female, and a politician. Given those factors she is exempt from having to obey the laws.

1 Hi_estComnDenomn Hi_estComnDenomn 2 days @LEO0301 How about a link for that quote you made up earlier?

The people around her weren't reporters. And even if they were, she knows them, and you allow people you know into your personal space. That's just societal common sense.

LEO0301 LEO0301 2 days @Hi_estComnDenomn - okay, I'll do the work for you. I've worked with people like you so I know what to expect. Here is just one of MANY websites reporting about her comments. If you don't like the site I provided, simply google "Maxine Waters threatens to take "Trump out". By the way, just to demonstrate how left google is, I found that if you put in the search engine "Maxine Waters threatens Trump" you will get a response about Trump supposedly threatening Waters. Typical of google, Twitter and Facebook. Anyway, here you go, Felon -

Maxine Waters Threatens To "Go And Take Out 'Moron' Trump", The Most "Dangerous President Ever" "I'm sitting here listening, watching, absorbing... And with this kind of inspiration, I will go and take out Trump tonight..." www.zerohedge.com Maxine Waters Threatens To "Go And Take Out 'Moron' Trump", The Most "Dangerous President Ever" 1 Hi_estComnDenomn Hi_estComnDenomn 2 days @LEO0301 First of all, I use duckduckgo mainly, not Google.

Second, you're right! She did say that. But I watched a good portion of the speech, and the context was talking about Muhammad Ali, so there's no way she meant take him out by killing him, like you're original quote suggested. She meant whooping his ass. Maybe you forgot to include that part of her speech.

Now, you may say that is bad for a government official to threaten another government official, but let's not forget that Trump described VP Biden as "weak, mentally and physically" and would "go down fast and hard, crying all the way" if they were to get into a fight.

I guess it's a regular thing for old politicians to threaten each other physically.

(edited) HCD_is_my_bitch HCD_is_my_bitch 2 days @Hi_estComnDenomn you be defending that Auntie Maxine....

DRTice DRTice 2 days Everyone needs to dog her everywhere she goes and everything she does. Se how she like the treatment she is trying to get others to do in her name. Don't let her face be seen in public without some harassment just exactly like she wants other to do.

2 HCD_is_my_bitch HCD_is_my_bitch 2 days You gotta fight fire with fire with these people....... they're animals.

1 BarryW BarryW 1 day Really? She said to confront and harass Trump supporters and workers. Confrontation and harassment can, and usually does, lead to violence. She knows that and so should you. When it inevitably happens she will hide behind those words, SHE is the one that needs impoeached.

2 Hi_estComnDenomn Hi_estComnDenomn 1 day @BarryW Your cognitive dissonance is amazing. Everything you're saying Waters does, Trump does. If you want Waters impeached, how do you not also want Trump impeached?

BarryW BarryW 1 day People throw the term "cognitive dissonance" around to make themselves feel superior over us lowly Conservatives. The difference is, POTUS Trump knows what he is doing. He knows the Liberal/Socialists are killing this country from within. Waters is a dingbat that is afraid she'll lose her cushy throne in the Congress. She and the rest of the Black Caucus are nothing but leaches on the system, along with their RINO colleagues.

Hi_estComnDenomn Hi_estComnDenomn 1 day @BarryW That's great and all, but how is wanting one gone for physical threats but excusing the other for physical threats not a perfect example of cognitive dissonance?

I'm asking honestly.

Let God Sort em Out Let God Sort em Out 1 day He does what she does? Don't recall Trump hitting a reporter and I'm pretty sure he didn't call for the death of a sitting president either, lol

Hi_estComnDenomn Hi_estComnDenomn 1 day @Let God Sort em Out Yeah. Too bad neither of those things happened, or you might have an arguable point!

LEO0301 LEO0301 14 hrs @Hi_estComnDenomn - You said "Not sure what the big deal is. If there's a camera in someone's face, it's a perfectly normal response to re-establish your personal boundaries." With that logic, you would then support a police officer shoving or swatting a person away during these protests where people get directly in the face of the officers? I just want to make sure I know where you stand on this issue.

Hi_estComnDenomn Hi_estComnDenomn 7 hrs @LEO0301 Good question, and thank you for being civil. I'll return the favor.

I most definitely agree with an officer, or anyone, slapping, shoving, or otherwise re-establishing their personal space after verbally or physically warning someone that they are violating.
