VIDEO: Convicted Killer Beaten By Sons Of Victim During Courtroom Brawl

Convicted murderer Dale Williams was later sentenced to 23 years to life for killing the men's mother.

Youngstown, OH – A convicted murderer was attacked by his victim’s children inside an Ohio courtroom on Thursday (video below).

The incident occurred during the sentencing hearing of 62-year-old Dale Williams, who previously confessed to having killed his former girlfriend, 46-year-old Elizabeth Pledger, CNN reported.

Pledger was murdered in 2017, after Williams ran her off the road and fatally shot her, according to Mahoning County Sheriff Jerry Greene.

The victim’s sister was preparing to deliver her victim’s impact statement alongside Pledger’s son, 30-year-old Anthony Dees, when Dees suddenly rushed towards his mother’s killer, video footage showed.

Anthony leapt over a courtroom table, and managed to force his way past courtroom deputies to get to Williams.

As he pummeled his mother’s killer, his younger brother, 23-year-old Jerome Stuart Dees, jumped into the melee, and the duo proceeded to punch and kick Williams repeatedly.

One of the deputies deployed his Taser, striking Jerome, and both brothers were immediately taken into custody.

"He killed my mother, man," Jerome told the officers as he was being handcuffed. "That was my mama. She took care of me, bro."

The brothers have been charged with felony obstruction of official business, misdemeanor assault, and contempt of court.

They were scheduled to be arraigned on Friday, but their hearings were postponed until Monday due to a bomb threat at the courthouse, CNN reported.

Williams was transported to a hospital to be checked out after the attack, according to WBAL.

His sentencing hearing was postponed as a result of the brawl.

On Monday, Williams was sentenced to 23 years to life for killing Pledger, WKBN reported.

I feel for these men. I wish I could understand what the deputy was saying to him when he was saying, "He killed my mother, man!". I couldn't and can't imagine being in that position. What a senseless killing.

There was a case just like this a few weeks ago. The guy punched the man who murdered his sister. He got 6 months for "contempt of court". He only got one punch in.

I could not convict these 2 of anything.

My conscience would not show these men to be convicted of contempt. Maybe told to break forlunch to cool off, but not tased and charged. That's the problem with murderers! They are let to live in luxury compared to senior citizen homes.

Their actions are totally understandable and justified. I would definitely go to jail for that.

I don't blame them. They should've received an award for NOT killing the douche-bag!

Too bad they didn’t get more kicks & hits in before stopped. POS hopefully will get a lot more in prison. Hope the sons walk. I know I wouldn’t go for conviction. RIP to mom. Condolences to her boys. :/

If someone did that to my mother, I'm afraid my response would have been the same.

I would have done the same thing. The Officers had to do their job unfortunately but I bet they understood their anguish. God Bless you boys and I hope you get charges dismissed. I'm so sorry about your Mom!

I have always said how I give the victim's so much credit for being able to sit only feet away from the POS that took they're loved one away. Surprised it doesn't happen more often. Don't blame these 2 at all!

Even as a retired law enforcement officer and someone who believes in the law it would make me happy to hear these ment got probation rather than jail time. As a female I think I might have done the very same thing if someone killed my mom or dad!

Exactly why certain neighborhoods are outhouses. Attacks like this are more than disruptive & dangerous. And, if you watch this video .., the target was barely scathed. The criminals (family members) need a hefty dose of isolation!

"The brothers have been charged with felony obstruction of official business, misdemeanor assault, and contempt of court" Why? When these types of situations happen to families, I think they all deserve their pound of flesh or 15 minutes alone with the convicted killer, or the right to be able to push the injection needles for the lethal injection machine, etc.

I would have jumped in there and helped if that was my mother that POS killed! I don't understand how they sentence anyone for getting their anger out on the POS who killed a loved one. To bad they didn't kill him!

The Officers should of let the men beat the crap out of that scum bag a few minutes longer.. Those poor family members having to deal with the death of their loved one is so sad. Those two sons should NOT have any charges against them! They should be praised.
