VIDEO: Attacker Crawls Through Window To Kidnap, Rape Bikini Barista

Police catch man with extensive criminal record who kidnapped bikini barista and tried to sexually assault her

Kent, WA – A man armed with a knife crawled through the window of a bikini barista cafe and kidnapped the barista and tried to sexually assault her, according to police.

The incident happened at about 4:45 a.m. Tuesday. Police have arrested a man with an extensive criminal history, The News Tribune reported. (Video below)

Hottie Shots Espresso hires women wearing bikinis to serve its drinks. A 30-year-old barista was working on the order of a 33-year-old man when he climbed through the window. The man threatened the barista with a knife and then forced her to go into a dark alley near the stand.

“I’m doing everything I can to stall him,” the victim told KOMO. “I’m dragging my feet. I’m giving him dead body weight so it’s not easy for him to just walk me over into my death. And I was just like, 'oh my god why isn’t anyone pulling up.'”

Then, another car pulled up and the man ran off. The barista called 911.

Police said the barista was OK other than a few scratches, The News Tribune reported.

KIRO-TV interviewed a co-worker it only identified as Alix.

Alix says the boldness of the attacker even though there was security cameras was unnerving.

"We've been robbed a couple times as well," Alix said. "If somebody ever wants something in here, we assume it's the money. This was much more terrifying."

Kent Police Department Detective Melanie Robinson was also shocked by the video.

"The video is shocking to be quite honest with you," Robinson said. "To hear her reaction, it's alarming.”

It is normal for coffee stands in the Seattle area to be staffed by bikini baristas at 4 a.m.

@Aaron57, that is terrible. Where exactly was this? I want to be sure to stay away from there.

There are substantial suspicions that those places are covers for prostitution. One in a jurisdiction near me is rumored to live stream their internal security camera online... The windows are there to give the customer the view they go there for.
A couple of years ago when I went on a ride along, the first call of the day was to one of these bikini barista stands. The officer actually had to tell the girl to put panties on.

Those windows are way too big to be safe. They need smaller, bullet-proof windows to make it safer for the employees. Also, they should never work by themselves. That owner is negligent.

Have an armed guard.

Owners is an ass hole. They were robbed before maybe you would retrofit the drive up so no one could gain access through drive up and have 2 or 3 workers there instead of one of a armed security guard.
