VIDEO: Antifa Attack Police & Journalists In Charlottesville

Antifa fought with police and journalists in Charlottesville on Saturday, but news outlets largely ignored it.

Charlottesville, VA - Antifa was captured on video attacking police and journalists Saturday night, but even the journalists' own station refused to report on the violence.

The march started during the day with hundreds of students marching in protest of the white supremacists who held the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville one year ago.

Despite anti-police chants, the group was largely peaceful until nighttime when the crowd was dominated antifa chanting things such as, "ACAB, all cops are bastards!"

Antifa got in scuffles with police, and appeared to successfully extricate one of their comrades from the hands of police officers to save them from arrest.

NBC journalist Cal Perry tweeted that his crew was attacked by antifa who said, “F--k you, snitch ass news bitch. F--k you”.

Part of the assault was captured on video.

Despite their journalist being attacked, NBC news only reported it as "far left protesters heckling the media and chanting anti-police slogans." The showed footage from Perry's crew, but didn't include the footage of them being attacked, according to Newsbusters.

Other media outlets largely ignored reporting on antifa all together.

CBS News reported that police being in body armor caused the violent environment, but didn't report on any of the violence.

More antifa protests are scheduled for Sunday.

As long as the media continues to fuel the flames we will continue to see grown-ass men and women acting like spoiled children. This won't stop bc the media and Antifa have a symbiotic relationship - they mutually feed each other.

Antifa needs to be labeled and treated as a domestic terrorist group. As far as NBC...did Cal Perry really expect them to have his back?

Anyone breaking the law (that does not involve injuries or destruction of property) while protesting should automatically get a minimum of 30 days in jail, 30 days of real community service (12 hours a day/7 days a week), and required to wear an orange jump suit for the entire 30 days. If the defendant does not fulfill these requirements, then one year should be added to their sentence. If injuries occurred, and property was destroyed, then the punishment, of course, should be far more severe. Enough of this coddling of these troublemaking "protesters". It doesn't matter, who you are or what you stand for, break the law and you will be punished. The police, who put their lives on the line for these crackpots should have more leeway in using stun guns, tasers, rubber bullets, pepper spray, and tear gas. The bottom line is, you have the right to protest PEACEFULLY but not to harm others and/or destroy property that does no belong to you.

I think of a jail sentence for anyone arrested would be appropriate. Getting sick of it

Their chants are ... true literature! Pulitzer Prize! Their college education is so clearly demonstrated in their speech.
