Stockholm, Sweden - Multiple people will killed with more injured as a beer truck was driven through a department store in what the prime minister is calling a terrorist attack.
Reports state 2-5 people have been killed with many other injured. A beer truck plowed through a street full of pedestrians then drove into the side of the Ahlens department store at around 3 PM on Friday.
"Everything indicates that this is a terrorist act," Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven said.
The beer truck had been stolen as it was unloading at a restaurant earlier in the day.
There are two confirmed deaths, although many places are reporting 5 dead with "many injured."
Swedish broadcaster SVT reported shots fired in the area, although officials said that information was false.
Some news agencies reported that the suspect was taken into custody, but officials have said that the suspect has still not been located.
"We have no contact with the person or persons who drove the truck," Sweden's top police chief, Dan Eliasson, told a news conference.
There is a massive manhunt underway for the suspect. The subway system has been shut down and evacuated for the manhunt.
This attack was the first major terrorist incident in the country.
