Leadwood, MO - Malissa Ancona, the wife of murdered self-proclaimed KKK "Imperial Wizard" Frank Ancona, along with her son Paul Edward Jinkerson Jr., have been arrested in connection to the homicide. Ancona's body was found Saturday morning by a family fishing on Federal Forest Service Property.

According to the USA Today authorities obtained a search warrant for the Ancona residence on February 11th after discovering the body of Frank Ancona on government property Saturday morning. Ancona had suffered a gunshot wound to the head.

Initial testimony from Malissa Ancona said that Frank Ancona had left on Wednesday saying he wanted a divorce. Malissa told police that Frank had left to deliver a part for work across state lines. He had packed a bag, along with his guns and left, she said. The day he "left," Malissa posted an ad on Facebook for a roomate to help with the rent.

Frank was ultimately reported missing on Friday by his employer after he didn't show up for work. That same day authorities found his vehicle in a heavily wooded remote area of Washington County in the Mark Twain National Park. Initial searches did not yield anything but on Saturday a family fishing near Belgrade discovered the body of Frank Ancona along the riverbank.

The Leadwood Police Department had already been in contact with the Ancona family and was awaiting a search warrant when the body was found. While searching the home, they found "extensive blood" in the master bedroom. They also found a safe belonging to Ancona that appeared to have been pried open with a crowbar and all of the firearms inside were missing.

Original testimony made by Malissa Ancona had said Frank took the firearms with him but his personal firearm which he carried daily was still in the residence according to the Daily Journal Online.

Monday morning both Malissa Ancona and Frank's step-son, Paul Edward Jinkerson Jr. were charged with murder in the first degree, tampering with evidence and abandoning a corpse.

During interviews with police, Malissa stated that Frank had planned on divorcing her giving her a motive.

After Frank Ancona's death, some people tried to bring his humanity to the forefront by saying that he left behind a wife and stepson and that they are suffering from his death. It turns out, that's not actually the case. Frank Ancona appears to have lived a life that nobody cared for.

Do you think that a jury will be lenient on the suspects because of Frank Ancona's KKK affiliation? We'd like to hear what you think. Please let us know in the poll below or on our Facebook page.
