Suspect Nathan LeForce Guns Down Deputy, Steals His Patrol Car, Still On The Loose

Logan County, Oklahoma - A massive manhunt is underway for Nathan LeForce, who gunned down a Logan County Sheriff's Office Deputy, stole his patrol car, then carjacked two more vehicles.

Deputy David Wade was serving an eviction notice on Nathan LeForce at Mulhall Rd, near I-35 Tuesday morning. LeForce opened fire on the deputy, repeatedly shooting him in the body and face. He then stole the deputy's patrol car, according to KFOR.

After fleeing in the deputy's patrol car, he abandoned it at a gas station where he then carjacked a customer at the gas station. Leforce has since abandoned that vehicle and carjacked yet another car. The last known vehicle that Leforce was in has since been located abandoned near County Rd. 76 and Jaxton Rd, just northeast of Guthrie.

Nathan LeForce is still on the run, is armed, and is extremely dangerous.

Deputy David Wade was conscious and able to call for help on the radio and relay suspect information. He has since been airlifted to the hospital. There has been no official word on his condition. UPDATE: The hero has died. More info to come.

Nathan Leforce's criminal history shows previous convictions for feloniously pointing a firearm, attempting to elude an officer, unauthorized use of a vehicle, possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of a taken credit card and several traffic violations.

Leforce is a white male with neck tattoos, 6’0″ tall with a thin build, last seen wearing a black shirt, loose-fitting black jeans, and a baseball cap.

Anybody who sees LeForce is urged to keep their distance and call 911 immediately.
