Students Accused Of Serving Teachers Crepes With Bodily Fluids In Them

As many as eight students at Olentangy Hyatts Middle School are accused of putting bodily fluids in food for teachers.

Powell, Ohio – Several middle school students are accused of having put bodily fluids on crepes they served to their teachers during a cooking competition.

The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office was investigating after a video of the preparation of the tainted food that was given to the school resource officer at Olentangy Hyatts Middle School on May 17, according to WSYX.

The competition was part of a “Global Gourmet” class for 14 and 15-year-old students.

Police said as many as eight students gave five teachers crepes that had semen and urine mixed into them, WSYX reported.

Samples of the food have been sent to the state’s crime lab for analysis.

Delaware County Sheriff’s Office Spokeswoman Tracy Whited said it was school officials who contacted the authorities on the same day the incident occurred, according to USA Today.

Whited said that if the students did put bodily fluids in the teacher’s food, they could face felony assault charges.

The Olentangy School District has refused to do any on-camera interviews about the incident but released a written statement to the news media.

“The safety and security of our students and staff is of utmost importance,” the statement said. “District leadership and local law enforcement are conducting a thorough investigation into this incident, and anyone found in violation of school policies will be held accountable for their actions. We are also focusing our efforts to support the teachers impacted by this incident.”

An attorney for one of the students said he thinks it’s a stretch to charge the students with assault just because they were accused of feeding teachers urine and semen, and said it was more likely they could face disorderly conduct charges.

“Prosecutors are going to have to stretch the assault statute to fit these allegations,” attorney Brad Koffel said, according to WSYX.

Koffel has alleged that the video was staged as a prank and said people should use caution in forming a judgment about the students.

It "easily could have been a prank that may have been mocked up for the purposes of creating a video,” he told WBNS.

I believe that tampering with food products is a felony in all states, if not it should be.

Brad Koffel and the kid's parents should open wide and eat a platter of the crepes. Absolutely disgusting, the parents must be so very proud of their young chef wannabees......

After Delaware County Sheriff's Office gets done with them the middle school should implement supervised after school /summer unpaid employment on school grounds for a period of 1yr .........or face expulsion . Their choice ....and as we know choices have consequences.

I was going to skip over this story, but I didn't and now I really wish I did! Stuff like this is why I don't eat cookies and stuff when it is dropped off by the general public where I work. It's really sad that I don't trust it, but with the disconnect between LEO's and the Community lately, I just don't want to take the chance. I'm not the only one and that is sad.

This all comes back to the upbringing of the children by their parents. They were never taught respect, forget for teachers or LEO's, but for other human beings in general. Charges should be filed and these kids should be all put to work doing community service at a wastewater treatment plant or something.

And if they're found guilty, whoops a slap on the wrist ! This teaches the chitheads what ? They need to serve at least 30 days in jail with real criminals and see what jail life is all about. Can't call mommy and or daddy to come and get you cuz "you don't like it there". Do the crime , do some time no matter what age. See how they'd like a "semen" sandwich🐋🐋🐋.

I'll bet if that attorney had been the one to be served food that was tainted with urine and semen he would be singing a different story. What the hell is wrong with kids today!!! If my kid had done something like that she wouldn't have been sitting down for a week and would have been grounded until she turned 21.

I wonder what charges those lawyers would be expecting if someone was to feed them food with semen and urine? If the test on this food comes back positive they should be charged with felony assault. And made an example of.
