NFL Player Being Investigated For Alleged Abuse Of 3-Year-Old Boy

NFL player Tyreek Hill is being investigated for a battery charge against a three-year-old boy with a broken arm

Overland Park, KS – Kansas City Chief Pro Bowl wide receiver Tyreek Hill is under investigation for a battery charge which involved a three-year-old boy having his arm broken.

The Kansas City Star cited an anonymous source as saying the three-year-old son of Hill’s fiancé Crystal Espinal was the victim. The police report is dated March 14.

Mike Deines, spokesperson for the Kansas Department of Children and Families said they had received a report and are investigating, according to the Kansas City Star.

The Kansas City Chiefs confirmed that they were aware of the police investigation into the matter.

“The club is aware of the investigation involving Tyreek Hill,” the Chiefs said in a statement to the Kansas City Star. “We’re in the process of gathering information and have been in contact with the league and local authorities. We’ll have no further comment at this time.”

Hill had not been charged with a crime as of Friday. He told the Kansas City Star in January that Espinal is pregnant with twins.

In 2015 while a college football player at Oklahoma State, Hill pleaded guilty to domestic battery of Espinal, who was eight-weeks pregnant at the time of the attack.

Despite choking and beating a pregnant woman, Hill was only given a three-year deferred sentence with probation and had to finish an anger management course and attend a 52-week batterer’s intervention program, according to the Kansas City Star.

Hill was kicked off the Oklahoma State football team and finished his college career at Division III West Alabama.

Hill, 25, was a fifth-round draft pick by the Chiefs in the 2016 NFL draft. Hill has played in the last three Pro Bowls and was a First Team All Pro in 2016 and 2018. Hill had 87 receptions for 1,479 yards and 12 TDs in 2018. Hill signed a four-year, $2.58 million contract in 2016 and is projected to earn $1.96 million next season in the final year of the deal.

Classic example of NFL hero worship. Some of these guys from many different teams continually receive the slap on the wrist.

What a scum bag. Just one more reason why I refuse to watch ANY NFL GAME. Beating up women and kids. Is this is the type of thug we want as our "heroes?" Not in my opinion.
