Miami Beach, FL - MMA fighter Conor McGregor was arrested Monday in Miami Beach after he was accused of robbery.
The incident happened when a fan attempted to take a picture with McGregor as he was leaving the Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel, according to WCAU.
The police report states that McGregor smacked the phone out of the man's hands and then stomped on it repeatedly. After stomping on the phone, McGregor allegedly grabbed the phone and walked off with it.
The phone was valued at $1,000, according to the victim.
After the victim filed a report, police located and arrested McGregor for strong-arm robbery of the man's cell phone.
This isn't McGregor's first run-in with the law.
He was arrested last year for attacking a bus full of fighters.
McGregor was captured on video throwing a dolly through the window of a moving bus, resulting in some injuries.
He later pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and was sentenced to five days of community service.
The latest arrest could prove more serious for the former UFC champion.
Robbery is a crime of moral turpitude and if McGregor is convicted, he could be deported back to Ireland and need special waivers to return to the U.S.
