@Jsmoe There are roughly 1 million officers in the country. Even if i were to take the bogus figure of only 1% being bad, that should mean there are 10000 bad cops "serving and protecting" people right now. Do you honestly believe there are that few and even more incredibly, the remaining 990,000 would be okay with that figure?

@Jsmoe If an adult has sex with a child and another adult finds out, they tell the authorities.

If a soldier is an alcoholic and his buddies find out, they report him because their lives depend on him and vice versa (alcoholism isn't a crime, I'm just staying with your metaphor).

An equivalent statement would be if a cop did something bad, a good cop would report him to IA or however cops are reported. That doesn't happen consistently.

So if one teacher has sex with a student does that mean all of them do? If one soldier is an alcoholic does that mean all of them all? Get off your liberal high horse. You are the problem with this country.

@Rmartz: is says that the first two officers shot were undercover and/or tactical officers. That is why there is room to question whether he knew they were police. Not going to judge on this until we know whether the shooter knew the first two officers were police, or whether he had reason to think that they were crooks.

@Rmartz Also, quit with the "don't judge all by the conduct of a few" diatribe. You don't use that mentality when referring to black folk, so don't use it when referring to cops.
