Infamous Child Molester Larry Nassar Assaulted After Just Hours In Prison

A convicted child molesting doctor was assaulted in prison and his attorney blames the judge.

Tuscon, AZ – Convicted child molester and former sports doctor Larry Nassar was attacked by inmates at the federal Arizona prison where he will likely spend the rest of his life after pleading guilty to sexual assault and child pornography charges.

Nassar was “physically attacked” within hours after he was put in the general population at the United States Penitentiary, according to the Detroit News.

The claim was made in court documents filed by Nassar’s attorneys in Ingham County Circuit Court. Nassar’s attorneys want the former Michigan State University doctor to be re-sentenced by a different judge in the first of the molestation cases he faced.

Nassar, 54, is serving a 60-year federal sentence for possessing child pornography and was also sentenced to up to 175 years in state prison for molesting seven girls.

Malaika Ramsey-Heath, who is one of Nassar’s attorneys, said that he was removed from the general population of the prison. She didn’t have details of any injuries Nassar may have sustained, according to the Detroit News.

Ralph Miller, a retired Bureau of Prisons employee with an expertise in sex offender designations, told the Detroit News that federal inmates either live in the general population or the Special Housing Unit.

"That's the jail within the jail: lockdown 23 hours a day and they allow them out one hour a day for recreation," Miller said, according to the Detroit News.

One of Nassar’s attorneys blamed the judge who sentenced the disgraced doctor to prison for the assault, according to the Detroit News.

Attorney Jacqueline McCann said in a court filing that Judge Rosemarie Aquilina’s comments and conduct during the sentencing hearing encouraged violence against Nassar.

The attorney noted that the judge even had the nerve allow more than 150 girls and women to give victim impact statements in court over seven days.

“The judge herself openly lamented that she could not impose cruel and unusual punishment upon the defendant, indicated her expectation that he would be harmed in prison, without condemning it, and finally proclaimed, with apparent relish, that she was signing his 'death warrant,'" McCann wrote, according to the Detroit News. "Unfortunately, Judge Aquilina's comments and conducting of the sentencing proceeding appeared to encourage this type of behavior."

They all should be put into general population! BUT no the liberal system has to protect them. Since the law can't execute them just put them in general population!

Also it's pretty well known that prisons have their own sense of Justice for those that prey on children. The judge saying that he deserves to feel what his victims felt in no way put a novel idea into anyone's minds!

Scenarios for his prison term:

  1. 23hrs a day of solitary for his own protection, under cameras, ZERO privacy
  2. general population status and a "welcoming committee"

Option 1 the lawyer would've complained about his lack of privacy, violation if rights, blah blah. Option 2 she blames the judge. Typical.

Here's that federal prison in Tuscon's visiting schedule so you can let them know in person... you can even send Mr. Nassar money, maybe to help him pay for his attorney for when he sues the prison for not providing him with a safe space and emotional support animal.

Jailers work in prisons. And do you really think there are enough special safe spaces for all the child molesters in prisons? What about people that torture animals? Inmates have pets at home, and maybe would kick someone's ass over that? And who decides who gets this special protection status? Is it only child molesters?

What about transgender, gay, lesbian, bi, and transmogrificationing inmates? Where do we warehouse those clowns? And what about women beaters? Its not a very honorable thing to be walking around in a prison because you beat up women. Oh wait I forgot about rival gang members need to be separated too. Maybe we can just make prisons the size of a small city in each state, and hire a few hundred thousand extra guards needed to check all these safe spaces for contraband and to feed them separately, since we wouldn't want anyone in line at the mess hall to be attacked either. Separate safe space hotel rooms with each their own toilet, and shower facility, because you wouldn't wanna worry when you drop the soap either right? Burgers you sir are a genius and deserve the Nobel Peace prize. Hell Obama got it just for thinking about peace in North Korea.

So lets see if we are in agreement, we separate all inmates by the following for their new protected status:

Age, Sex, Race, Ethnicity, Gang Affiliation, type of crimes committed, sexual partner preference, gender preference, pronoun preference, gender preference, IQ, Religion, Food preferences, Height, Weight, Physical ability, Aptitude, Agility, Education level, relationship to other inmates (cousin, sibling etc), political affiliation, astrological sign, belief in global warming or not, hair style, hair color, clothing style, shoe size, muscle tone, skin tone, hair color, fighting ability, communication skills

The list is just a starter, if I missed anything let me know I'll gladly add it. I figure at least 99.9% of all inmates would get their own separate facilities. Assuming we could find about 20 extra trillion dollars to fund it each year.

Bottom line: prisons are responsible for the safety of all prisoners. those who don't understand this should not be police officers..
