An active shooter has been reported in Aurora, Illinois.

Aurora, IL - An active shooter has been reported Friday afternoon in Aurora at the Henry Pratt factory in the 600 block of Archer Ave.

Unconfirmed reports are that there are officers down and the suspect is still at large, according to CBS 2.

UPDATE: ABC7 Reports that the gunman has been taken into custody. The gunman's injury status has not been released.

UPDATE: Daily Herald reports four Aurora police officers are down.

WGN reporter Meghan Dwyer reports at least 6 people have been shot and the gunfight is still in progress.

The West Aurora school district posted: "There are reports of an active shooter at the Henry Pratt building near Cleveland and Prairie just east of Luigi's Pizza, as a result, we are holding all district students in place for their safety, there is a police presence in the area. Per directions from the county sheriff, the District has been advised to go into a soft lockdown situation across the district. Teaching will continue with reduced movement. Normal operations will resume when the soft lockdown has been lifted. No one will be allowed to leave or enter our buildings until the soft lockdown has been lifted."

Cops should get out of Chicago, too many thugs been getting a pass for too long. Cook Co. even made carjackings a misdemeanor to lower their crime numbers. Disgusting.
