Hero Down: Officer Nathan Graves Killed

Lincoln County, Oklahoma - Sac & Fox Tribal Police Officer Nathan Graves was killed on Tuesday 01/24/2017.

Officer Graves was driving southbound on Hwy 99 at around 6:00 AM when a vehicle traveling northbound swerved into is lane to pass another vehicle. The vehicle impacted Officer Graves' vehicle head-on, killing the hero.

The condition of the other driver has not been released at this time.

Officer Graves had previously worked for the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, and they set up a GoFundMe page for the fallen hero with this message:

Officer Nathan Graves was killed in an auto accident in the early hours of January 24th. In honor of our fallen brother we would like to raise money to help his family with funeral costs and travel costs so that all his family has the chance to come together in honor and rememberance of Nathan. Help spread the word!

Officer Graves leaves behind his wife and children. He was 45 years old.
