Greensboro Police Officer Shot
Greensboro, NC - A Greensboro Police Officer was shot Friday afternoon during a traffic stop.
According to Fox8News, the incident occurred about 4:30 PM in the area of Bernau Avenue and Baker Street. The Officer was transported to a local hospital and is receiving treatment. A second person was also shot and is receiving treatment at a local hospital. It is not known at this time if the second person is a suspect.
The Officer's name has not been released yet and his condition is unknown. The identity of the second person has not been released, his condition is also unknown, and it is unknown who shot him.
Two suspects are reportedly in custody.
Police are on scene interviewing witnesses and collecting evidence. The investigation is ongoing.
