FB Is Suspending Accounts For Calling Cpl. Singh's Killer An Illegal Immigrant

Facebook is taking actions against accounts for seemingly no reason other than stating a fact about a killer.

Menlo Park, CA - Blue Lives Matter has confirmed that Facebook is taking actions against Facebook accounts that call a cop-killer an illegal immigrant.

Corporal Ronil Singh was murdered within 100 miles of Facebook's headquarters, but the company appears to be concerned about anybody pointing out that his killer was in the country illegally.

Gustavo Perez Arriaga, 32, fatally shot Cpl. Singh during a predawn traffic stop on Wednesday, leading to a massive multiagency manhunt. He was captured Friday morning.

Arriaga is an illegal immigrant, has self-promoted his status as a member of the Sureno street gang, and has two prior drunk driving convictions in Madera County, Sheriff Christianson said.

"This suspect, unlike Ron – who immigrated to this country lawfully and legally to pursue his lifelong career of public safety, public service and being a police officer – this suspect is in our country illegally. He doesn't belong here. He's a criminal," Stanislaus County Sheriff Adam Christianson said during a press conference on Thursday afternoon.

A sheriff's deputy whom I personally know posted the following picture on Facebook on Friday:

After the image was up for a few hours, his account was suspended for 30 days:

In the past, I have personally been suspended by Facebook, and had a Blue Lives Matter account suspended, for posting a news article about a suspect hit by a car in a low-speed collision, while running away after beating an officer.

The suspension was allegedly because my post to the Blue Lives Matter Facebook page implied that it was humorous and not sad that the poor violent criminal got bumped by a pickup truck after beating an office. That suspect was seemingly uninjured.

We have also received other reports of people having action taken against their Facebook accounts for posting similar images.

Facebook user Dana Marie says that she didn't even post a picture of the killer when she got flagged for "hate speech." Dana posted images of Corporal Singh and his family, with the text: "This is officer Singh. He was killed by an ILLEGAL ALIEN 5 hours after he took this picture with this beautiful wife, baby and k9! This is precisely why we need to #buildthatwall! RIP hero"

"Illegal alien" is the official term used by the U.S. government since the Reagan administration to describe people who are in the country illegally.

UPDATE: The deputy appealed and Facebook said that his post didn't violate policy, but he's still suspended. Update HERE.

Do you think that Facebook should be able to suspend users for stating undisputed facts, which aren't open to interpretation as opinion? We'd like to hear from you. Please let us know in the comments.

It's crazy insane that they are violating right to free speech. And with no consistency. They don't close down the hateful organizations such as antifa or black lives matter. And this POS is illegal and needs to be put down for what he did.

This is how Big Brother works. I assumed growing up that George Orwell's 1984 meant Big Brother was the media arm of the government, but now I think Big Brother can be in a variety of things, including a privately owned, yet publicly used platform, such as Facebook.

This is ridiculous. Facebook calls this wrong to post so that means they are protecting the killer?

There is nothing "Standard" about FB's Community Standards. Their corporate Leftis bias shows in its enforcement.
