Nashville, TN – A 24-year-old woman was arrested Jan. 1 after biting and scratching her boyfriend during sex causing him to call the police.
Kristan Parris allegedly bit her boyfriend on the arm and back and also scratched him several times on the back, according to The Smoking Gun.
The boyfriend said Parris began to bite and scratch him "while, or slightly before, they began some intimate activities," according to the probable cause affidavit. The boyfriend said it was beyond the scope of their normal intimacy.
Tennessee law enforcement officers are required by law to arrest somebody if police are called to a domestic violence scene and there is probable cause that an assault occurred.
Officers noted that the victim had several scratches on his back and two bite marks. The officers determined there was probable cause to arrest Parris.
The victim also told police that his girlfriend punched him several times about three weeks earlier but he never called the police, according to the complaint.
Parris was charged with domestic assault, which is a misdemeanor. She was held in the Davidson County jail and was freed on a $500 bond.
She has a court date scheduled for Jan. 14.
