Could they let him run? Could they just let him go? He wasn't doing anything wrong EXCEPT carrying a firearm ILLEGALLY. But did they know? Bottom line is just conform to the law. I got pulled over few weeks ago, gave the trooper my license and conceal carry permit. He asked if I had a weapon. My answer was yes in my passenger seat. He didn't ask to see it, told me to stay put, went to his car to run my license then came back and ask me to slow down. Never was my weapon in question. The police are good by far. The people who are bad cause conflict with cops and community. I respect them. I feel safe even when (and I always do) have a weapon in my possession when confronted by a law officer.
