One officer (Sgt.) is deceased and the other (Cpl.) is in surgery in very critical condition... There is word coming out as I type that suspect is in custody, alive or dead, not sure yet...

''The suspect has been captured.'' Not what I want to read.. esp. if an officer has been killed.

Captured not my preferred outcome.
In Florida a few years back a cop killer had been killed by deputies. A reporter ask why the man had 69 bullets in him
“Well ma’am,that’s all we had!”

Condolences to the family of the deceased officer and hoping for a quick recovery for the other officer. To bad the suspect was taken alive.
