Obama was the one who stated this anti-police rhetoric. Remember this ... He could be my son. Police officers were fine until that weasel of a president came along. Obama sucks!

Many, many prayers for all the officers & their families, & all LEOs responding to this tragic incident. It won't stop until all Americans once again have respect for the lives of others! That's a long way off.

Hi_est enjoys the interaction and does whatever he can to get people to banter with. It's his special gift to this site. Don't take the bait, he enjoys it. So pitiful

You "millennials" need a wake-up call as well as an education. You obviously cannot think for yourself as you parrot words of Liberals which is damaging our nation, our people, and our law enforcement officers. You're an attention seeker leftist who has a desire to cause discourse wherever you go. This sir is Obama's legacy. He started this war and is very pleased with the results as he is working overtime behind the scenes to cause as much separation and anger as he can. You follow his lead either with eyes wide open or as a blind sheep being led to the slaughter.

Actually if you take the time to look up the facts, there were fewer Police Officers killed in the line of duty over Obama's 8 years than there were during Bush's 8 years.

If you look at the figures, the Nixon era was exceptionally hard for Cops.

I personally think it is funny how some on here are so doom-and-gloom about the way things are going, when the stats show things like murders, and Police deaths are historically low. Call me an optimist. I think we are doing pretty good.

I figured you did. Like you I get my news all over the place. Most news outlets are biased one way or the other. I figure if I look at enough sources, I will get the whole story.

The stats are swayed because of advances in medical technology and advanced medical training of first responders. If not for these advances, the murder rate and officers killed would be 4x what it is today. Stay vigilant fellas!!!

4x as high? Can you backup that made up number?

2013 was the safest year EVER to be an officer and 2015 the second safest year and guess who was President? The war on cops has been a fake scenario pushed by police and their followers to gain more support and more money from the cities they police. Someone said its thanks to improvement to technology well no that is not true do you think there's the same amount of officers today as there was 15 or 20 years ago?

I love how Highest_Retard thinks that millennials started phrases like "echo chamber" and "circle jerk". We used those terms before you were born you narcissist. I guess if he followed a bible, the first sentence would be "And God created millennials".

Most of that is actually due to advancements in training, equipment, departmental policy changes. But much of it should be attributed to the declining rates of crime. We’re becoming more civilized as a people. That isn’t the sole progress of any one president.
