BREAKING: Texas Officer Shot After Being Flagged Down On Patrol

A police officer in Mission, Texas has been shot in the line of duty.

Mission, TX - A Mission Police Department officer was shot in the line of duty Thursday night.

The incident happened near Business 83 and Stewart Rd when the officer was flagged down, according to KRGV.

The officer was told about a man carrying a weapon. During the incident, a gunfight broke out with the suspect.

The officer was shot and transported to the hospital in critical condition.

KVEO reporter Joanna Guzman reports that the suspect was also shot and is in critical condition.

Until our judges stop letting repeat offenders loose, this will continue I’m afraid. Attention to all judges and DA’s! Stop letting them out to commit more crimes!! Can you not see what’s happening??
