Seattle, WA – A man attacked three people with a knife in front of Nordstrom’s in downtown Seattle late on Tuesday morning.
The stabbing spree occurred just after 10 a.m. on July 9 at the intersection of 6th Avenue and Olive Way, near the entrance to the headquarters of shopping giant Nordstrom, FOX News reported.
A man attacked three people with a knife, and then stripped off all of his clothing and fled police naked on the city sidewalks, ABC News reported.
Police caught the man on an exit ramp several blocks away from where the stabbings occurred.
The naked suspect hid his knife in the back of a delivery truck nearby but it was recovered by officers after he was captured, ABC News reported.
Seattle police told reporters the knife attacks were “unprovoked and random” in a media briefing shortly after the incident occurred.
A 75-year-old man was stabbed in the neck and a 77-year-old man was stabbed in the back, ABC News reported.
Both men were transported by ambulance to Harborview Medical Center, FOX News reported.
A third victim was stabbed in the arm but refused to be transported by emergency personnel on the scene, according to ABC News.
All three victims were in stable condition, according to police.
Police said they did not yet know the motive for the attack.
