You do realize that the “build the dam wall Mr. President”, has absolutely nothing to do with this situation right? This is a case of someone getting ahold of a firearm (wether or not it was legally or illegally obtained has no relevance, since she’s underage anyhow and it’s illegal for her to possess a firearm to begin with). Also, you typed “calf complaint” whereas it should be “calif compliant.” And, it’s not “dam” it’s “damn.” But, I digress, stricter gun control laws only effect law abiding citizens. As you stated, criminals will always have access and possession of firearms, as they are criminals (people who don’t abide by the law.) Jerry Brown is an ignorant, incompetent politician, who’s only reason for winning the election was due to allowing illegals the right to vote. Also, the AG of California stated that he would prosecute businesses who work with federal law enforcement agencies by reporting illegals to federal agents (ICE, DEA, FBI, ATF, etc.). Which is a violation of federal law. Jeff Sessions should start and investigation into the California AG, and prosecute him for violating federal law. California has become an authoritarian state, enacting more restrictions on law abiding citizens, while, at the same time, allowing illegals and violent felons reduced sentences with Proposition 47 (among many). Also, a state representative just drafted a bill that would charge restaurants employees (the servers) with a misdemeanor crime for HANDING OUT PLASTIC STRAWS. This “crime” if the bill is allowed to pass and become law, would carry a sentence of up to 6 months in jail, and/or a fine up to $1,000 dollars. The rep who drafted the bill, is obviously a democrat. The counter to the proposed legislation is simple. Not only is it an absolutely ridiculous and egregious abuse of power, but also, the restaurants, regardless of how well they clean the cups, cannot guarantee that they are completely clean. At least with a plastic straw, it’s a one use product. Even if they switched to glass or reusable straws, it still carries the same risks as drinking straight from the cup since there is a higher chance of not being completely clean. At least with plastic straws, there’s a lower chance that it contains bacteria and other health problems, but it’s much more sanitary. Drinking straight from the cup, or a glass or reusable straw, also has all of the chemicals still on them from being cleaned through a dishwasher. So, not only is it much more unsanitary, but you also run the risk of increased chemical traces entering the body.
