BREAKING: Deputy Shot Outside Jail In Fort Worth

A Tarrant County deputy was shot in the head outside of the jail.

Fort Worth, TX - A Tarrant County deputy was shot outside of the jail in Fort Worth.

The deputy was in the parking garage outside of the jail at the time he was shot. No further details about the shooting incident have been released at this time.

The deputy was transported to the hospital and his condition has not been released.

No suspect information has been released at this time, but there appears to be a manhunt in the area.

UPDATE: The deputy has died. Despite initial police reports that the deputy was shot. They now say that there is no evidence that his fatal head wound came from being shot. CLICK HERE FOR LATEST.
