Gilroy, CA - Police are responding to the Gilroy Garlic Festival for an active shooter situation.
Ambulance crews said at least 11 victims are down, according to NBC Bay Area.
The shooting started as the festival was wrapping up its third day at Gilroy's Christmas Hill Park.
Scanner traffic indicates that initial reports say that there may be more than one shooter, but that information has not been confirmed at this time.
Bystanders took cell phone video as they fled from the gunfire.
UPDATE: A Gilroy city councilmember has said that there are 3 confirmed dead, 12 confirmed wounded, and the suspect is in custody.
