It takes a very special person to rush into a raging inferno to save lives and control the damage. In Prayer that God is protecting all of you.

Praying for those firefighters & their families--for full recovery from their injuries & all the support & care they need to get through these days with no lingering problems. Prayers for all who are still fighting the blaze! God be with each of them!

Tragic. Here is horrific video of them evacuating down a ladder through monstrous flames...

Prayers.

The fire reportedly broke out at a supplier of hash oil, Smoke Tokes on East Boyd St. I don't know if they were making it there, but that process uses lots of butane.

This is HORRIBLE, I watched the video Jim H placed in his feed and got chills watching them LITERALLY run down the ladder in the flames. Unless we ourselves do this job we just can’t know THEIR FEARS! Yes it looks as if all will survive yet we don’t talk about the hardest part. Survive in what state, in pain the rest of their lives, the loss of their career? What about the PTSD they may endure? Will they have to fight for their pensions so that they might still help place food on their tables, roofs over their families heads. Please may we ALL start not just praying for survival but for what their lives will now be. Let’s talk about the reality of how Men & Women in ALL UNIFORMS FIGHT everyday for our ability to LIVE a good and safe life!!!!

Chief Terrazas shared that the injured firefighters were all from Engine 9, located in downtown Los Angeles' Skid Row.

In 2018, LA's Engine 9 was named the busiest station in the US...
