Black Extremist Calls For Killing Cops In Pittsburgh, Had Ties To Dallas Sniper

A radical black nationalist who goes by "Minister Mauricelm X" posted a call for people of color to kill police.

Washington, DC – The same man who called for the killing of police officers in the wake of the Alton Sterling shooting in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has now called for the murders of Pittsburgh cops after a 17 year old was killed in an officer-involved shooting on June 19.

"Dispatch To Pittsburgh Is Written In Blood and No Less!” Mauricelm-Lei Millere wrote on his Facebook page on Saturday evening.

“We are on our way to Pittsburgh to apply the laws of an eye for an eye, in self-defense of our younger black brother, who was murdered [hours] earlier! We have no alternative! We must kill the police, that are killing our black children & Families In Self-defense!” he wrote.

While some might be inclined to disregard Millere’s edict as an extremist rant, his anti-cop posts are believed to have inspired violence against police officers in the past.

He called for killing officers in a vitriolic Facebook post just 36 hours before one of his followers murdered five police officers who were working at a Black Lives Matter march in Dallas on July 7, 2016.

Micah Johnson, the sniper who fatally shot five officers and wounded another nine, was found to have been one of only 170 members of a black nationalist group called the African American Defense League (AADL), The Daily Beast reported.

AADL was founded by Millere and the former head of the New Black Panther Party, Malik Zulu Shabazz. Shabazz has since distanced himself from the organization, according to The Daily Beast.

“Millere is known for calling for violence against police specifically, on a regular basis,” Oren Segal, the director of the Anti-Defamation League’s Center on Extremism told the New York Times following the Dallas sniper’s attack. “Usually after a high profile police-related shooting he takes to social media to encourage violence against police.”

Johnson also followed the New Black Panther Party, the New York Times reported.

Millere, who is the AADL’s leader and refers to himself as “Minister Mauricelm X,” addressed his post on June 23 to “All Black Nationalist, Gangstas, Featherweights, Heavyweights, Black Mercenaries, MS-13, Especially ETCs” and said he was “enacting this Black Nationalist / Internationalist Oath Now!”

His post challenged other black citizens to help him in his quest to murder police officers, and called for the death of the East Pittsburgh cop who shot Antwon Rose after he ran from a vehicle that police believed had just been involved in a drive-by shooting nearby.

That officer-involved shooting is currently under investigation, and authorities have asked for the public’s patience while they determine what happened. Millere, however, did not appear willing to wait for answers.

“We're arriving to Pittsburgh to 'Right This Wrong!' We are coming to Pittsburgh 'To Die If Necessary' in Self-defense But 'We Demand The Life of The Officer That Killed Our Younger Black Brother or Any Blue Life Will Do!” Millere wrote on his Facebook page.

“We Are Seriously Considering Instituting An Annual Purge Against All Racist White Organizations, All Racist White Police, And All Their Ignorant, Conformed, Black Coons / Goons, for the sins / killings that are being committed against our people by such (both foreign and domestic )!” he continued.

He finished his social media tirade by saying “We Will Die To Fulfill This Cause In Self-defense! May Allah Be With Us Until Whatever End!”

It’s important to note that in the aftermath of the shooting spree that killed the Dallas officers, representatives of Black Lives Matter were quick to condemn the killer’s actions. Millere, on the other hand, celebrated on social media just before 11 a.m. the morning after the heroes’ murders.

“WE ARE CALLING ON THE GANGS ACROSS THE NATION! ATTACK EVERYTHING IN BLUE EXCEPT THE MAIL MAN, UNLESS HE IS CARRYING MORE THAN MAIL!” Millere posted on his Facebook page the next morning, according to Vocativ.

The post was accompanied by an image of blue and red bandana-covered hands with the hashtag # BloodsAndCripsUnite.

“We are Calling on every gang (Crips and Bloods) and gangsta across the four corners to put in some work because these racist crackas have put themselves in your business. It’s time for the Crips and Blood to shed some blood. Know what um saying!?” Millere wrote.

It’s also worth noting that Millere has encouraged people to kill firefighters, too, on social media, claiming that they’re on “the same side as the police,” Vocative reported.

@LEO0301 Are you asking a serious question? Because all I've seen is you fags saying my name first, then me responding.

@Hi_estComnDenomn - "Egregious acts" Hmm, did you read the story about police shootings we asked you to, Cheech? NO? Of course not, because it doesn't correspond with your anti-police narrative. As a side note, I wonder if your reaction would be the same if a white person called for the shootings of all black men because of the egregious acts they commit.

@Hi_estComnDenomn - I'm going to use a your quote/my response style:

You: "Police should behave better. This reaction is dangerous, but it's a reaction to egregious acts." Me: Police are already held to higher standards of personal and professional behavior than most. I will agree that ANY time a person loses their life so young it is tragic. The reaction (to call for the murder of cops) to this event is in itself dangerous. Calling for the murder of others, especially the indiscriminate murders of others based only on their jobs is heinous and cannot be tolerated.

You: "Seeing as cops literally have life and death in their hands, yes. Their behavior should be damn near without reproach. That is hardly the case though." Me: Actually that IS the case. And it exists for the reason you state. Cops, as I said, are already held to the higher standards that you are demanding. They are the only ones to my knowledge other than soldiers at war who have to be "fit for duty" 24/7 and even in their "off duty" time. On your days off you can drink and not worry about it but cops can't. A few drinks may be fine for you (or getting plowed even) but an off-duty cop had better never be past legal-limit or anywhere close to it. What if they had to intervene off-duty with their weapon? Even if they save a life or thwart a robbery if they'd been drinking they are in deep trouble. And if they chose NOT to act because they were impaired they'd STILL be in trouble!"

You: "@JBo and if you were concerned with mass death, you should check out the opioid epidemic. It's absolutely decimating work forces and townships throughout the midwest. I believe it is by far the highest cause of death of the whites. Someone should do something about that." Me:

  1. JBo's comment was about the violent crime rate among the black community and that this activist should focus on THAT because it claims far more lives. This was your only response. I assume you agree with him then?
  2. Even if this is true (and yes I looked at the stats you and RDS40 were putting up) why does it matter here? Honestly if it's true so what? I'm not gonna argue if the facts bear out. Yes, opiates are a problem. A big one that apparently spans the county. But what we're focused on here is a domestic terrorist who not only advocates violence and murder but who CALLS FOR IT. That's some really messed up stuff he's saying. And he directs it at some really messed up groups - like MS13 for example. As I said in my post earlier, the First Amendment does NOT cover this type of speech. The Supreme Court uses has found that "There are certain well-defined and limited classes of speech, the prevention and punishment of which have never been thought to raise a Constitutional problem. These include the lewd and obscene, the profane, the libelous and the insulting or 'fighting' words – those which by their very utterances inflict injury or tend to incite an immediate breach of the peace" Chaplinsky vs. New Hampshire 1942. In other words, calling for murders like he had done is clearly NOT a violation of 1st Amendment.
