Hero Down: Palm Beach County Sgt. Tammy Davis-Partridge Dies During Honeymoon

Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office Sergeant Tammy Davis-Partridge served her department for over eight years.

Las Vegas, NV – Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBCSO) Sergeant Tammy Davis-Partridge died on Oct. 7 while on her honeymoon in Las Vegas.

The 32-year-old sergeant and her husband, Palm Beach Gardens Police Officer Andrew Flink, were married just three days prior to her sudden death, WPBF reported.

Sgt. Davis-Partridge’s body was discovered in the bathroom of their Luxor Hotel room, according to the Clark County Coroner’s office.

Her cause of death has not been released.

The couple’s families and a small group of friends were also in Las Vegas to celebrate the nuptials.

Her brother, firefighter Chris Davis-Partridge, said that his sister “lit up every room she walked into,” WPBF reported.

"She's got a heart of gold and is the best sister a brother could ask for,” he said. “We all lost someone great.”

Because Sgt. Davis-Partridge’s father had passed away, Chris took his place during traditional aspects of her wedding and reception, WPEC reported.

“Walking her down the aisle…I got to do the father-daughter dance with her,” he said. “When I was dancing with her, she was laughing and cracking up. It was typical Tammy. She was sweet, she was funny, she was the life of the party."

Sgt. Davis-Partridge joined the PBCSO on June 27, 2011, according to her obituary.

“On February 12th, 2018, Tammy became the youngest female to be promoted to the rank of Sergeant in her [agency’s] long and storied history,” the tribute read. “Tammy had a passion for helping others and…[was] about as patriotic as anyone you will meet.”

Her family said she would be remembered “for her personality, infectious smile, and caring nature.”

“The Western Region Bureau and District 15 are saddened to report that Deputy Tammy Davis Partridge passed away," the sheriff's office said in a statement to WPEC. "Please keep her family in your prayers."

In addition to her husband and brother, Sgt. Davis-Partridge leaves behind “countless friends,” according to her obituary.

She was laid to rest on Wednesday.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant Tammy Davis-Partridge, both blood and blue. Thank you for your service.

Rest easy, hero. We’ll hold the line from here.

RIP Sergeant.

Lowest: you are a disgusting piece of shit. The level that you happily drop to is shameful. You and your liberal retarded ilk should do us all a favor and disappear from the face of the earth. Respond however your juvenile mind requires, but I will never respond to your hate.

Why would anyone say something like that to hurt her loved ones? It's False Witness and true evil.

God bless her, prayers for comfort to her family. Sadly the evil ppl saying ugly things are a part of free speech. I strongly believe in our constitution even when I absolutely hate what is being said.

It is sad to lose a dedicated, selfless officer who gave her life to serve those in need in the place she lived. Sadder still, it is unconscionable that there are those who troll these boards to make their disrespectful, unfounded, cruel remarks all while sitting behind the anonymity of a keyboard. (In Mom's basement?) All lives are precious and should be revered and for anybody to make libelous false statements or accusations to demean the character of a fallen officer is the lowest. May God have mercy on her soul and may her family receive His everlasting peace. I also pray for those haters who spread their hate here daily on virtually every story.

WOW~ It would be interesting to know what happen to her~ And You people are ruthless, Hi_estComnDenomn may have made that comment 1 it's hard to believe that dying of a natural cause at that age just don't make sense, not that it ain't possible. Anything is possible even the overdosing of an officer. Somebody made the comment about that couldn't be because she won't a black druggie (something to that effect) Where I live black people ain't overdosing that's the white person's thing, the black people thing is they are shooting each other up. And as far as the law, there has been several to overdose doing a bust, there has been several kids (little ones) to OD and most of them has died from getting into some of the residue that was left behind by one of the parents, so that comment ain't that far fetched and it sure ain't any worse than the way some of you have commented on his or her post is ruthless, and immature. In any case that Young Lady ain't here anymore and My Sincere Condolences to the Family and Friends~ And one more thing, I have known Cops, Correctional officers that have addiction problems too~ Nobody is Exempt~ But for me I'm curious to what happen to her~ Who knows her newly husband could have did something to her~ Who Knows~ But talking to people like some of you have shows people that your no better than the other for being ugly~ j/s

This article was custom made to bring out the trolls. Vegas is party town USA. Add in the honeymoon and you have the perfect storm for any number of excessive behaviors, which could lead to death. It's a safe bet neither suicide or foul play had anything to do with it, so the trolls are delighting illegal drug overdose speculation. Tragic for her to die at a young age, during her honeymoon... RIP.

To all the ASSuming dipsticks that jump on the overdose train, why can't you have the moral restraint to wait and see if a COD is published? I bet your families would appreciate the same should your demise occur without warning! Grow some self-respect or STFU! And I echo the comment of another poster...... Who the hell is minding the posts of the morons? Rest in Peace sister💐
