It is terrible to read these but it is even worse to accept their suicide when it causes so much pain for those left wondering. The lack of full disclosure is even worse, they leave notes in the vast majority.

This is the worst thing a family and a department can go through. People do not understand Officers are human too. They just as many problems as everybody else. The difference is if an officer shows weakness they want to fire that person or classify them as crazy. Officers need help with everything just like normal people. They see the worst of the worst. We have to stop COP Suicide!!

Being a law enforcement officer has always been a really tough job, and nowadays is it tougher than it has ever been before. Hopefully the people in charge of his department will force themselves to look within the department to see if there were departmental issues that might have caused it, and work to prevent other such needless losses. He and his family as well as his "blue family" are in my thoughts and prayers.

   Loss of a LEO

A mourning band to grieve our loss, is something that we do; for the one who served to keep us safe, from those who break the rules.

We vow to watch over the family, both blood and blue; And in our hearts we honor the life, that ended much too soon. c.j. martin

Did none of his fellow officers notice any change in his behavior? So sad that the officer did not seek help instead of taking his life. God bless him and his family. RIP.

Might want to hold your prayers on this one - guy was having an affair with a 15 year old girl. Reason he shot himself was because people had found out. Good riddance to pedo garbage.
