Rest in peace, Officer Maynard. A young life cut short selfishly by a thug - because of him, a young girl has to grow up without her real mom and a family, both blood and blue, have a hole that can never be filled by anyone else.

Much longer prison sentence called for when the criminal takes the lives of innocent people, especially when the suffering from that victim's loss is going to affect so many other lives! RIP, Officer Maynard! Many prayers for her daughter, family, & friends!

so sorry for the loss of her red and blue family. Terrible accident by another thug. poor officer didn't have a chance and her daughter will be raised by love from dad and extended family. RIP. Hate to preach at this time, but please do not send up balloons in anyone's honor, very good gesture but is very harmful to environment, there are alternatives. TY .

Another convicted felon released to roam around committing other crimes and killing people. Also notice he had a gun which no gun control laws would have affected... as a felon he couldn't "buy" a gun. Also I have mixed feelings about chasing criminals at high speeds which often end in accidents like this. Why can't they call ahead and have someone in front of the suspect take them out.
