VIDEO: Ice Cube Fan Opens Fire After Show Sells Out, Didn't See Cop Behind Him

Daniel Elizarraras fired a gun in a crowded ticket area outside the Del Mar Fairgrounds on Sunday.

San Diego, CA – An enraged man was shot by San Diego Sheriff’s deputies outside a racetrack on Sunday, after he learned he couldn’t get a ticket to Ice Cube’s sold-out show, and fired a weapon several times into a crowd (video below).

Daniel Elizarraras, 22, went to the ticket window at the Del Mar Fairgrounds at approximately 6:40 p.m. to pick up a ticket, and became upset when he learned they were all gone, The San Diego Union-Tribune reported.

“An argument ensued and nearby deputies responded,” the San Diego Sheriff’s Department said in a statement, according to the news outlet. “The man pulled out a silver plated semi-automatic handgun and fired several shots into a crowded area. Deputies engaged and returned fire.”

A cell phone video of the chaos showed Elizarraras, dressed in black, as he walked with his weapon in his right hand, and pointed it towards the sky.

A female deputy drew her weapon, and approximately four shots rang out.

Elizarraras immediately dropped to the ground, the video showed.

The deputies rushed towards the fallen gunman and ordered the crowd to back away as the video abruptly ended.

He was rushed to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, where he was listed in stable condition, police said, according to The San Diego Union-Tribune.

Elizarraras is expected to survive, and no one else was injured during the incident, KGTV reported.

The shooting occurred just after the conclusion of the 10th race of the day, and an announcer repeatedly broadcasted that there was “gunfire at the track,” The San Diego Union-Tribune reported.

“As is our special events protocol, substantial law enforcement and private security was on site in anticipation of the event,” the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club said in a statement. “In light of the circumstances that unfolded involving one individual with a gun, we take consolation in the fact that no patrons, officers or security personnel were injured in the incident.”

“We also are thankful for the work and training our personnel have done with the Sherriff’s Department regarding possible active shooter incidents,” the club said.

The sold-out Ice Cube concert went on as planned at approximately 8:30 p.m.

I have to wonder what kind of parents raised someone to shoot into a crowd because he couldn't purchase tickets to a sold out event.

Too bad he survived. Stupid liberals are going to put his thug butt on a pedestal and not worry about who could have been shot. I hate California and feel sorry for the few sane folks left there.

California is becoming Chicago on a massive scale thanks to Democrats. Liberals in that state will cite a hundred reasons why this shooter fired his gun at the crowd. Individual responsibility will never be one of them.

He is expected to survive and also expected to sue the city and win and get a shit ton of money for his own stupidity. Even if the officer killed him his family would sue because this world is so fkd up now it’s sad!
